December issue vs. Newer Bears
On the left is the December 1997 Princess with PVC pellets. On the right is a Princess we received this year that has PE pellets.
The ears on the December bear are a little bigger and further apart, but this could be a random variation. The ears on our Peace Bears vary some also. There have been rumors about differences in the heart tag, but both of these tags look and read the same.
There have also been rumors about the color of the stem of the rose being different. We can't detect a difference.
The only difference we can find is the type of pellets used in Princess. However, we've also had some collectors write to say that they received a Princess in December that had PE pellets.
